Redefining Menopause

For Black & Brown Women

The Black Woman's Guide To Menopause

Black Women Are Suffering Through Menopause Uninformed, Unsupported & In Silence — This Guide Changes That.

Finally… a menopause guide created specifically for Black & Brown women.

If you’ve been feeling:

exhausted, anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, unable to focus, disconnected from yourself, struggling with brain fog, battling hot flushes or night sweats, or wondering “what is happening to me?”…

You are not alone.

And you are not “going crazy.”

Many Black and Brown women are navigating perimenopause and menopause completely unsupported — often dismissed, misdiagnosed or left suffering in silence.

That’s why this guide was created:

To help you feel seen, heard, supported and feeling like yourself again.

"I recently read The Black Woman's Guide To Menopause and found it incredibly helpful. It provided just the right amount of information without feeling overwhelming or confusing, and I loved having everything I needed in one convenient place. The guide covers pre-menopause, perimenopause, and menopause in a clear and informative way. Most importantly, it made me feel seen, understood, and supported throughout the journey. I would highly recommend it to all women, regardless of which stage they are in."

Her work centres on closing the care gap and raising awareness of how menopause affects Black & Brown women differently—biologically, emotionally and systemically. She is a regular contributor to campaigns, podcasts and social media that spotlight health inequities and has spoken at the House of Commons (UK Parliament), advocating for inclusive policy and practice around midlife women’s health.

Emma’s mission is clear: to empower, equip and educate women to reclaim their health, their stories, access the support they deserve—and redefine menopause as a transition of power, purpose and possibilities.
